Loc Maintenace & style

My little girl is a "loc- princess", as you can see. We have fun conditioning, pampering, & styling her locs. She's definetly a inspiration to all her friends because she enjoys pushing the envelope a little. She stands out among them & don't mind at all. I actually think, she likes the attention. Lol(smiles).

DEEP CONDITIONED & RINSE :
Step 1. Deep condition with Aubrey's Organics White Camellia Ultra Smoothing Conditioner. Smooth each loc from root to end until hair is fully coated/ saturated. Cover hair with plastic cap. Leave on for 15 minutes.
Step 2. Lightly rinse conditioner from locs with cool/warm water.
Step 3. Microfiber towel blot hair or t-shirt blot hair  ( I don't use regular bath towels because they over dry the hair and can leave little lint balls.

 STYLING AIDS & STYLING
Step 1. Spray hair with a few pumps of water & extra virgin olive oil mix & Shea Moisture Define and Shine on hair, smoothing all over.
Step 2. Begin sectioning hair to get set for this style. Start by making a part that extends from ear to ear in a hill shape with peak at middle of head.  Section top portion off for later.
Step 3. Take bottom section & split into 2 sections with part down middle.
Step 4. Section off hair on bottom left side for later.
Step 5. Begin with hair on the bottom right side of head. Part each individual loc with hair clip & smooth hair down from root before applying product.
Step 6. Apply a small dab of Mygel by Joie naturals to the root.
Step 7. Retwist loc, then palm roll loc from root to end.
Step 8. Clip down loc at root with hair clip. Repeat. Complete left back side.
Step 9. Repeat steps 6-7, retwisting, palm rolling on left side of head.
Step 10. Time to retwist front sectioned off portion.  From right ear up across to the left ear, retwist each loc, applying a squirt of water& olive oil for dampening.
Step 11. Continue to apply a dab of Mygel to root, twist, & clip down loc.
Step 12. Allow hair to dry mostly. (Airdry or dryer)
Step 13. Remove hair clips
Step 14. Time to style. Twist bottom left & right up into 2 rolls meeting at the middle of head.
Step 15. Twist front section to the left side, stopping midway. Allow rest of hair to hang down on the left side.
