Gel twist/ comb twist (M.W.)

Est. Time: 40 minutes
These 2nd time around Gel-twist were a bit of a job on this 2 1/2 year old little boy a.k.a my son. (Lol)
The finished product is good.  I need to continue doing the twist on him until he's used to getting his natural hair styled/ twisted. The barbershop has been his "stylist" since he's turned 2, but were trying to let it grow out to see the difference in texture & health. Stay tuned- More to come in the near future!!!

CO-WASH & CONDITION:
Step 1. Before washing, pre-apply TJ's (Trader Joe's) Moisture Balance Conditioner to hair and scalp.
Step 2. Smooth the conditioner on hair until hair is fully coated/ saturated.
Step 3. Comb/ finger comb hair to evenly distribute.
Step 4. Rinse hair lightly with cool water. Leaving a little bit of conditioner on ends of hair.
Step 5, Microfiber towel blot hair or t-shirt blot hair  ( I don't use regular bath towels because they over dry the hair and can leave little lint balls

 STYLING AIDS & STYLING:
Step 1. Apply a dime size amount of Trader Joes (tj) Moisture Balance Conditioner (as a leave-in) to each section of hair, smoothing all over.
Step 2. Apply a quarter size amount of Bee Mine Luscious Moisturizing Cream to hair
Step 3. Starting at side/ sideburn area of hair begin by parting small 1/2 inch triangular sections of hair.
Step 4. Apply a small amount of Joie Naturals- My Gel  at the base of parted hair.
Step 5. Use tip of teeth of the rat tail comb to grab the 1/2 inch section of hair & begin rotating wrist & comb in a circular motion, creating a twist.
Step 6. Repeat process for steps 2, 3, &4 on the rest of head.
Step 7. Once style is complete, put a stocking cap or wrap on head to lay down any twist that are being a little unruly.
